Methodology and limitations

Checked means a submission entry was located and recorded. Research candidate means only a directory or homepage is in the catalog. It is not counted as an available submission route. Free and paid refer to the recorded listing rules, not every optional upgrade a directory might offer. “Dofollow” refers to a recorded directory policy, not a live backlink from a successfully published listing.

We show unknowns instead of guessing form length, directory fees, approval odds, link attributes, traffic, or authority. To confirm a backlink, check the actual public listing after acceptance. Browse the listing verification guide for a repeatable method.
